The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 3 August 1938, sent from the hotel to Paris, with two Helvetia stamps and a postal cancellation from Grindelwald. The publisher is indicated at the bottom of the reverse: 'Publisher: Photo-Suisse, Grindelwald'.
