Description

Humorous street scene showing a man in a wheelchair and two men walking, one pointing toward him with printed dialogue: 'T'EXPLIQUE — -does he therefore explain with his leg in the air? -can't you see it's a dishonest former banker, he hasn't yet lost his footing!'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Monday, March 18, 1940, sent to Henri, with a visible 'PARIS' cancellation.
