Description

Black and white view of the cliffs of Chassiron in St-Denis-d'Oléron, with a rocky shore in the foreground and a wooded cliff in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 23 June 1924, addressed to a general, mentioning a stay in Venelle and family memories. A postmark is affixed at the lower right, with partial cancellation.
