Portrait of a young Rétaise bride in traditional costume, wearing a white veil decorated with lace and holding a small book. The reverse features a postcard dated August 18, 1919, sent to Madame J. Bernard in Lyon, with a 15-centime stamp and a cancellation from La Rochelle.
