View of the Lantern of the Dead in Saint-Pierre, on the island of Oléron, a Roman monument from the 12th century, 20 meters in height. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1923, addressed to Madame Gras in Paris, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Saint-Gardes on October 7, 1923.
