Night view of an illuminated pier at Eastbourne with a fountain in the foreground under a full moon. The printed text at the bottom reads 'ILLUMINATED PIER AND FOUNTAIN, EASTBOURNE'. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1953 to Paris, with a 2 shillings stamp and handwritten French text.
