Description

Painting of a woman in a Sunday costume, seated and reading a book in an interior room. Printed text in German and French: 'Im Sonntagsstaat / En costume de dimanche'. On the reverse, handwritten letter dated April 19, 1916, sent from Wiener Neustadt to Luxembourg, with a 5 pfennigs stamp and postal mark 'Auslandstelle' (departure for foreign countries).
