Portrait of a Ute man named Cha-Per-Na, dressed in a tunic decorated with rows of white beads and a necklace. The back has handwritten French text, an address to Marie Lamberterie in Clermain, Loire, and a 10-cent American postmark canceled in Naree, Pennsylvania, on May 23, 1904.
