Description

Postcard illustrating two insects (beetles) in a boat loaded with lilies, with the handwritten inscription 'The sea is beautiful'. On the reverse, address to Mademoiselle Charlotte Riegert in Saint-Louis, Marseille, with postmark and stamp from Bouches-du-Rhône dated 5 May 1903. The recipient's handwriting is in italics and includes 'Augustine & Souvenir 1903' on the front.
