Perspective view of a Gothic corridor with pointed arch vaults and massive pillars, typical of the Grand Cloister of the Grande Chartreuse from the 12th century. Printed text at the bottom: 'Interior of the Convent of the Grande Chartreuse The Grand Cloister dating from the 12th century'. Reverse: handwritten address to Monsieur Aubry in Boissy-en-France, red 25 centime stamp, and postmark from Saint-Laurent-du-Var dated 25 July 1925.
