Colorized view of the interior of the French Market in New Orleans, showing fruit and vegetable stalls under a columned structure. The back has a handwritten letter in French addressed to Miss G. Nayrot, describing the market and mentioning the 'Halle des Bouchers'. A 1 cent postmark is affixed, with a partial cancellation.
