Black and white view of a rocky canyon with three human silhouettes in the foreground, surrounded by vegetation. On the back, a handwritten letter dated January 19, 1929, sent from Tehran to Madame Matlién, mentioning that the photo was taken near Tehran and referring to women from northern Persia. The postage stamp is a French stamp from 1929.
