Description

Historical postcard showing the castle of La Chaperonnière in Dallais, with printed text recalling that Jacques Cathelineau, son of the generalissimo, hid there during the Vendean insurrection and was killed on May 27, 1832 by the sub-lieutenant Régolier. Reverse: blank postcard with space for correspondence and address, and a handwritten number '49' at the top left.
