Description

Illustrated postcard of three young Japanese women in colorful kimonos, holding fans, in an artistic style from the late 19th century. The reverse has a handwritten dated message from October 22, 1900, addressed to 'Dear Jules' and signed 'La cousine Blanche Niël'. The address is directed to 'Monsieur Jules Quan' in Marseille. A 10-centime postage stamp is affixed, with a Nice obliteration postmark dated October 22, 1900.
