Painted illustration of a Japanese garden with flowering red shrubs and a woman in a kimono looking through the window of a traditional house. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 7, 1932, sent from Gray's Inn Road, London, to 'Maurice Rossare' in Francillon, mentioning the sun and heat. The postmark is canceled at 'REGGIO EMILIA' and bears the publisher's 'POST CARD' stamp.
