Description

Postcard illustrating a small statue of Jean du Cognot, placed four or five meters high on the first left pillar of the cathedral in Sens. The printed text relates his history: a lawyer in the Parliament in the 14th century, he fought against ecclesiastical authority, and his head was sculpted and placed in Sens. The reverse is blank, with the typical lines of a postcard.
