Description

Color illustration of a group of medieval knights crossing a winter landscape. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated February 1, 1909 in Marseille, addressed to Alphonse Blonde in Bordeaux, with a 10-centime postmark and a Marseille post office cancellation. The printed text states: '2nd TABLEAU. — Jeanne, accompanied by six men-at-arms, departs from Vaucouleurs to go to Chinon, residence of King Charles VII (February 1429).'
