Black and white aerial view of St. Helier on Jersey, showing a central square with a monument, historic buildings, and a view of the sea. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame H. Richard in Saint-Malo, France, with a humorous message about the sea. Two stamps are affixed: a red 5 pence and a green 2 pence, canceled with a postmark 'ST. HELIER JERSEY 15 PM'.
