Description

Illustrated postcard of a soldier in cavalry uniform, brandishing a sword and appearing to jump over a cannonball and shells. The reverse has handwritten Italian text, an address to Madame Étienne Michel in Marseille, and a red 10-centime French stamp canceled in Gagnières. The address is completed with a circular postmark from Gagnières.
