Historical postcard showing a young boy sitting on a stone bench at the Château de Venleuil in Jouarre, with an inscription recalling that Napoleon I was waiting there on 3 March 1814 for General Blücher to restore the bridges over the Marne. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Geroyette in Sarrigny-sur-Loire, a postmark from Meaux dated 29 July 1907, and a signature 'de Cannes'.
