Lively view of the beach at Juan-les-Pins with numerous swimmers, umbrellas, and a canoe on the sand, in front of a building bearing the inscription 'LAIS DE LA JETEE'. On the reverse, handwritten text dated August 4, 1945, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Baudrier in Chenôve, with a 31-cent French postage stamp canceled in Rabou.
