Animated scene of the grain market in Kairouan, with many inhabitants in traditional attire, some sitting, others standing, surrounding bales of grain under a large wooden awning. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame de Borvard in Montpellier, with stamps and postmarks, including a postmark from Tunisia dated July 31, 1913.
