View of the Charlet Barracks in Kehl, with a group of soldiers lined up in front of the building. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated March 16, 1931, sent from Kehl to Ernestine, mentioning the joy of the barracks reopening and the first time a postcard was sent from Strasbourg.
