Description

Equestrian statue of Gordon Pasha mounted on a camel, standing on a monumental base in Khartoum. The printed text at the bottom of the front identifies the subject. The reverse has handwritten text dated April 16, 1909, sent to a person in Paris, describing the arrival in Africa and observation of the monument with soldiers.
