Reverse: handwritten message dated August 3, 1898, sent from Richompré to Madame Marie Galam in Verneuil-sur-Avre (Eure), with a 10-centime postmark and a 'VERNEUIL-S-AVRE 19 AOÛT 89' dispatch stamp.
