Black and white view of a Gothic detail of the spire of Cologne Cathedral, highlighting rose windows and ornate gables. The front features the inscription 'KÖLN a. Rhein Dom-Detail, Turmstück'. The reverse indicates the publisher 'A. Sch K', an address in Paris, and a 5 pfennigs German postage stamp canceled in Cologne on September 6, 1905.
