View of La Baule beach under windy conditions, with coastal-style buildings lined along the shore. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated September 6, 1916, addressed to Mrs. Lombardin in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from La Baule (Loire-Inf.) dated August 17, 1914.
