Description

Black and white view of a rocky archipelago within a calm sea, with a natural passage under a rock forming an arch. The printed text identifies the location as La Bernerie (Loire-Inf.) and the subject as 'The Bed of Rol, high tide'. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Madame Jean Dariiau in Nantes, with a handwritten message 'Good souvenir to Mr. Dariiau', two stamps (20c and 10c), and a cancellation from Nantes.
