Description

View of the Montesquieu Castle in Gironde, with its medieval architecture and pond. The printed text indicates that it is the birthplace of Montesquieu and that it is classified as a historical monument from the 13th century. Back: handwritten address to Madame H. Marteau, at the general Toselli's residence, in Paris, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a Bordeaux cancellation of 14-9-28.
