Description

Black and white view of Sainte-Croix Church in La Charité-sur-Loire, with its slate-roofed bell tower and another more pointed bell tower in the background, bordered by brick walls and trees. Reverse: 8 franc postal stamp 'Vallées des Charentes' postmarked Guingamp on 22 August 1955, printed text 'LA CHARITÉ-SUR-LOIRE - L'Église Ste-Croix', and handwritten note indicating 'souvenir of holidays' sent to Madame Marijoune in Le Poullouven, Pas-de-Calais.
