Description

Young woman in a light dress holding a branch with several birds perched on it, accompanied by a printed poem: 'How happy they are and how I envy / The fate of these little birds / I would like, charming and pretty / To be just a little sparrow'. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Durand in Saint-Raphaël (Gard), 10-centime postmark canceled in Rennes, with the note 'Correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries'.
