View of the La Clayette Castle with its drawbridge spanning a watercourse, surrounded by greenery. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 10, 1937 addressed to 'My dear Simone' in Le Cheylard, with a 50-centime postal stamp and a cancellation from Le Cheylard (31) in Ardèche.
