Black and white view of Cannes from the Chemin des Écoliers, with pines in the foreground and the city and sea in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. D' Muelle in Boing-la-Reine (Seine), dated August-September 1953, with a 12-centime French postage stamp and a Cannes postmark.
