View of the monumental cross of Nivolet (1,546 m) erected in 1862, with several people at its base. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1913, addressed to Celestine Bienvavais in Baurvais, with a postmark from Taixigny (Loire) and a green French Republic stamp.
