Description

View of a suspension bridge crossing a ravine in La Devèze (Cantal), with an inscription indicating that the road from Pierrefort Cantoin was in danger of being submerged by the Sarran dam. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Charles Tartanier in Saint-Gobain (Ain), with a handwritten note 'Pleasant stay. Best regards. Germaine P. Richard', two stamps (20c and 2f) and a postmark from Saint-Flour (Cantal) dated June 25, 1946.
