Panoramic view of the La Grande Chartreuse monastery in the mountains, with its stone buildings and slate roofs, surrounded by forests. The back contains a handwritten letter dated September 15, 1905, sent from Montfaucon-d'Argonne to Pankin (Seine), with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark.
