Description

Black and white panoramic view of the village of La Grave at the foot of the Meije glacier, with snow-capped mountains in the background. The reverse indicates the publisher « La Cigogne » and a handwritten letter dated August 6, 1959, addressed to Madame Sauvane in Nanterre, accompanied by a 75-centime stamp and a postmark from La Grave (Hautes-Alpes) dated August 6, 1959.
