Description

View of the bridges of la Caille in Haute-Savoie, showing a suspension bridge built in 1838 (147 m high, 192 m long) and a new arch bridge completed in 1929, described as the 'largest arch in the world made of non-reinforced concrete'. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to parents in Paris, dated 27-8-30, with a 30-centime postmark and Chambéry (Haute-Savoie) postmark cancellation.
