Description

View of the entrance to the mine offices in La Machine (Nièvre), with a paved passage bordered by stone buildings covered in ivy and lampposts. On the reverse, a postcard sent from La Machine, with an 8-centime stamp and a postmark dated 16 May 1958. The recipient's address is rue Boudardonne in Nevers, and the handwritten message reads 'Bons baisers de Nevers à Claude Gérard'.
