Description

Black and white view of a river landscape on the Marne, between Chennevières and Champigny, with a path lined with trees and a boat on the water. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'My dear Mademoiselle' in Bellerive, mentioning 'unpleasant weather' and signed 'Caris'. Postmark of 10 centimes and cancellation stamp 'La République'.
