Description

Black and white view of a rough sea with waves breaking on dark rocks, under a cloudy sky. Printed text at the bottom: '4018 The Rough Sea — LL'. On the reverse, dated correspondence from August 8, 1912 addressed to Monsieur and Madame Minier in Chantonnay, with a 5-centime green stamp and a postmark from Saint-Émilion.
