View of a stone building from Provence, identified as the Hotel de Manpaille, built in 1781 by Claude II, Captain Viguiier, Governor of Les Baux. Protestants found refuge there during the Wars of Religion. The reverse indicates the publisher 'LL' and reserved areas for correspondence and address.
