View of the La Gartempe river at La Roche-Posay, with a man near a canoe and trees along the bank. The reverse has handwritten correspondence dated September 1st, 1933, sent from La Roche-Posay, mentioning a stay at a simple and clean hotel and a walk along the river. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
