View of the prefecture square in La Roche-sur-Yon, with the statue of Napoleon I on its pedestal to the left. The classical-style prefecture building dominates the scene surrounded by gardens. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 3, 1932, sent from La Roche-sur-Yon to Madame R. Prophétie in Fournols-d'Puvergne, with two 5-centime stamps and a postmark.
