Black and white view of the entrance to the port of La Rochelle, with many sailing boats moored and historic towers in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 13th, addressed to Madame Bliane Dumas in Marseille, accompanied by a 20-centime French postage stamp and a La Rochelle postmark.
