Black and white view of the entrance to the port of La Rochelle at high tide, with the Lantern Tower in the background and several sailboats moored. The back has handwritten correspondence addressed to Paris, a postage stamp, and a cancellation stamp from September 16, 1917, from the 24th Artillery Regiment in La Rochelle.
