Picturesque view of a stone path winding along a retaining wall, leading to a small white house nestled at the base of a steep rocky cliff, with pines and green trees below. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 29 August 1919, signed 'Danielle', addressed to 'Dear Sante', mentioning arrival at La Sainte-Baume (Var) and plans to visit Massicoulle and Rives. At the bottom of the reverse, the publisher 'PHOTOGRAPHIE A. ADRIA' and the number '11.328'.
