Description

Black and white view of the Váltin Valley in the Vosges, with a village nestled between wooded mountains and a winding road. The printed text at the bottom indicates 'The Valley of VÁLTIN (Vosges)'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 13, 1919, addressed to 'Monsieur Jules Curtet at S. Jérôme Prieure (Savoie)' and signed 'Alexandre', with the inscription 'Amitiés et cordiales frôignées de main'.
