Black and white view of the ruins of Albert Basilica, with its partially collapsed tower and destroyed dome, dated 1915. The printed text at the bottom reads 'The Golden Virgin of Albert Basilica'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 1st, 1916, addressed to 'Mademoiselle Louise Bourghards' in Châtenay, with a stamp and cancellation from Lempuy (Seine).
