Black and white view of the Hotel de l'Abbaye in Talloires, on the shore of Lake Annecy, with mountains in the background. The reverse has a handwritten address to Paris, a 20 centimes postage stamp of the French Republic dated 1930, and the inscription 'Imp. Edit. BRAUN & Cie, Mauthouse-Dornach'.
